Syntax

The value of this parameter is a string corresponding to a valid file path.

Notes

1. This parameter was introduced in version 2006.04.01
2. If this parameter is absent or does not correspond to a valid path, no log file is created.
3. No error is indicated if the path is not valid.

Description

It is convenient in some circumstances to generate a disk file that records the progress of a search. By using this parameter, such a log is created. Each line in the log file starts with a date and time stamp and then a message that is similar to the messages produced by the console output of X! Tandem. The exact contents of this log file will change from time-to-time, as users request more (or less) information to be displayed.
